Mr. Nunn, I'm curious where you found the information on production numbers on this Colt. I had heard there were several thousand made. I own one and use it as my edc.

Production started with NDF001 and the offered example is NDF2441.... there's one other on the block and that seller uses the 800 figure, too: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/970058100
The man I received it from spoke with a rep at the Colt factory, and that's where the information came from.
