Some buttwad managed to hack my email account....If you get anything from me saying I have a sore throat and can not talk and need a favor, that is the hack.... Do NOT answer it... Next step is they ask for a gift card.
Sorry for any issues you may have encountered due to this ... In the process of shutting things down

I got one from my minister from my church. It started with I'm really busy here and can you do me a favor and get some gift cards for the volunteers. Then he said to get one for yourself, for the volunteer appreciation day. I would have had to spend $200 or so and I had a bum knee and couldn't get out. So I emailed him and said I can't get out of the house because of my bad knee right now. The supposed minister emailed back with a nasty remark and said just go on amazon get the cards. I did nothing and told my wife and said I was ready to leave that church. She called the daughter who was the music minister and said the membership list got hacked and a few people got those emails. Then I look at the URL and see it's some weird email address, I should know better.
Got two, but figured them for spam. No harm done here, sorry about your end.
I got that email. It did seem fishy and I deleted it.
I get messages almost every day saying that they are going to close my paypal account unless I change my password. The wording in the messages must have been written by a third grader with all the errors in it.

Got hacked here, bad. Lost all my accounts including gunbroker.
Gunbroker side is working hard to recover what is lost.
Using a new account and user name right now.

I got an email from my pastors wife telling me about the really good deals on Viagra at a certain site.
A day later she sent out an email stating she had been hacked.
There were several of us who gave her no end of grief about her Viagra email!🤣
