"Seven Spanish Angles". Never heard it before and found it rather interesting. Any history involved or just another "interesting" song?

Its almost as old as I am !
It's an oldie. Troy Seals, who wrote it, said he made it up.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Never heard of "Spanish Angles" but I really like "Seven Spanish Angels."
(Yep, I blew that spelling once myself😉
How big was that rock you've been under?! 🤯
Just kidding. That is one of my favorite songs!
I remember that song. Liked it then, like it now. Thanks

America The Beautiful and the Star Spangled Banner are two of my favorites. Ever heard them? Never thought much of the Horst Wessel song.

Not my favorite Willie or Ray song but a good one I was about 23 when it came out...
One of the best songs ever by those two. I also like, Two old cats like us, by Ray and Hank Jr.
Baby grand-daughter lost her daddy before she was born. When she was an infant, Grandpa would waltz her to sleep with Willie's "Can I Sleep in your Arms Tonight". At the reception after her wedding, she came over for a dance with me. Yes, she had the DJ line up Willie for the two of us.
