French Muzzleloader Expert?

Trying to find someone who has knowledge of early French pistols. I have one I guess to be late 1700s to early 1800s.

France was a major arms producer at that time period and produced some very high-end / museum quality arms. Since no 'expert' replied to your question I would seek out some books on European firearms at the library or bookstore. Good luck.

Be tough other than as above. I checked Wikipedia and I think you could get some good info there if it has a name, model as I see there is many there.

If you could post some pictures of your pistol it would be very helpful.
