???????
A generator running in the bed of the truck ,,,,,,,, 🤣
I guess we have the answer to the question of how all those EVs will charge up.
Now that will solve the issue of fossil fuels. Oh wait...

Kids live in Seattle, charged theirs up on a highway trip, took 20 minutes and costs $22.
Does EVs not have an alternator, why can't they charge themselves while driving??
A typical alternator, like a gasoline engine has would produce deficit charging, I.E. it would use more electricity to drive the the alternator than it would return to the battery. I would imagine that with the electric drive motors though that they have regenerative braking. If they don't they sure ought to.

I thought the short video would heve been about a small ev, not a full size truck. I looked right past the first video.
My brother's Tesla does have regenerative braking. When you put on the brakes the electric motors add some electricity to the battery.
About 6 months ago, we traded in the van & got my wife an electric SUV.
It has almost 7,000 miles on the odometer as of yesterday.
All good with the car around town and day to day. It’s pretty cool actually.
But, It has never been outside of the county. This weekend coming up will be the first road trip.
I’ll report back how it goes, but the trip each direction is beyond the battery range of the car, so it will have to get juiced up in route.
I suppose a deck of cards or a board game could come in handy as you wait to charge up.
Its because there are no perpetual motion machines.
Blame the laws of the universe.

My electric vehicle setting it up for hunting
Got it rigged to pull a game cart and the helmet is on top of a homemade gun rack
Use to see a fella that hunted the same area in Adirondacks as me. He always pulled one of those little carts with bicycle wheels on it to carry out his deer. Lots of confidence because he could have returned to truck to get cart after shooting deer. Always came out with his deer on the cart that he carried in. As i recall he had a harness that he pulled it with. I should have followed him one year to see what his secret was. Oh well, too late now. ------------------------------Ray
