Wrong info on gun listings?

Do you often see errors in gun-listing information? I was scrolling yesterday through certain C&R boy's rifles with which I'm pretty familiar and found guns listed as walnut when they're stained birch; listed as new upgraded model when simply a Deluxe that was offered the same time as the Standard model; listed as S-L-LR when it would only shoot shorts;, and other errors. I hesitate to contact a seller to suggest corrections for fear of getting a gentle "mind-your-own-F'n-business" response. But I'd be darned unhappy as a buyer to find the gun was not anywhere near to being described correctly. What are your thoughts as seller or buyer?

I see them from time to time. If I’m sure of my information then I contact them and let them know. Sometimes they are grateful, sometimes they get testy for questioning their listing and sometimes you hear nothing back.
If the listing is obviously a scam contact GB support.
Then we have buyers who ask and don't read .
Purchasers who you have to explain sales tax ,fees and why shipping isn't 15$.
I always check when someone questions a listing, I copy paste and miss a detail now and then.

I know I'd like to be informed of a mistake, either as a buyer or a seller. Gun people should try to protect each other, we have too few friends these days.
I have brought errors to the attention of a few sellers, some have thanked me and corrected their mistake and others have ignored me. Several that come to mind have been rebarrelled Winchesters that were not noted as such. Another was a model 14 Remington listed as an 81. The seller never changed the listing and I got it as the only bidder as searches for Model 14 Remington didn't show it. Hey, his loss, I told him. What a bargain!!! As an after thought, my wife corrects me all the time. I am so fortunate to have such an intelligent lady to look after my best interests.
So much comes through here that I do make mistakes from time to time.....I ALWAYS appreciate input. Sometimes I don't see my messages until some time passes, but I do eventually get around to all of my emails.
A distributor sells here. Doesn't lists several items cinorrectly. I've sent messages twice. No change in the auctions. So I've been buying the items and making a $40.00 quick turn around on ea item. I'll buy 4-5 at a time. Guess I should buy the rest.
Probably too busy to change.
The very first reply covered it well.
Nothing further here.
