Starting a New Hobby

BrookwoodBrookwood Member, Moderator Posts: 13,723 ******

I had a couple of Bonsai trees that I had trained several years ago but lost both from my own neglect. Time spent for business and family needs got in the way.

Lately, have been studying a lot of sites online and getting fired up with some ideas to start a few more!

Anyway, shared here is an extraordinary example of an estimated 500 year old Bonsai tree from Japan.

Wow! I tried one about 15 years ago but it didn't go well. I'm not sure, but it may have been bugs or a disease. I did find extremely small black particles on it but don't know what they were or even if they had anything to do with the death. I may try again since I enjoyed trying to grow it. I still have the pot and mud man around here somewhere.

It's too late for me, save yourself.
