Was listening to Senator Kelly tonight. Claims he has first hand experience with Russian pilots. Says they are more incompetent than their Army. He should know, He was a fighter pilot. Could have been accident? I would say at the least, dumping the fuel was deliberate. What the heck do I know?------Ray
Based on the videos I saw, and because the propeller is lower than the stabilizer, I can only assume that the jet overtook the drone an an angle that allowed the wing tip to hit the propeller blade without hitting the stabilizer.
Either damn good piloting or dumb luck that didn’t result in much more catastrophic damage.
“What we’ve got here, is, failure to communicate.”
Don, any pilot will tell you that the Roosky phooked up big time. The intercept path he chose left the drone completely out of sight once he started his pullup - which came too late. Or way too soon.
The best and safest path would have been to pass right under the drone, keeping it in sight above you until you'd passed under, then climb slightly. That would have left a tunnel of jet fuel for the drone to fly through. Look at the curtain of fuel the first path left, as seen in the video.
Kelly is a first rate *. I’m sick of this globalist push for us to be perpetually involved in Ukraine and anything he’s selling I’m not buying Lol he turned in his guns to be destroyed when his wife disapproved

Any stats on the propeller material? I saw the video, STILL do not believe the idiot in chief or the media.
MOST props would explode with that type of impact. Maybe the predator has a prop made of solid aluminum?
Inquiring minds wanna know, what's the prop made out of that would allow it to only bend the tip over and not break!?
Metal prop.
In our AF, if you screwed up bad enough to have a midair, you'd be going before a board to have your wings pulled. At least in my day, you would.
Yeah, but today you'd get an extra beret.🤤
Most likely aluminum. They can bend a long way without breaking.
Don’t ask me how I know.
Was that back in the '50's?

Makes sense. Thanks, Rocky.
