Beretta 950 B and BS barrels

Long story short, I’d like to put a long barrel on my 22 short minx (no safety model). Will the barrels from the newer models with the safeties swap into the older models without?

Just looking at the pictures, they seem close enough to risk a purchase, but I thought I’d see if anyone here knows for sure or has done this and can confirm fitment.
