The gun: the Heritage Rough Rider .22
My "range" was muddy and wet and I forgot my mud boots.... I'll do better after the storm

Every new Heritage I have bought has shot low so I have had to file the front sight. Windage has been OK.
That would be a great target if it was at 50 yards.
Lol. Mud has what effect on target picture? At least you got out.
And water lol

I recently seen a scoped 22 Long Rifle rifle (New Savage bolt action) that shot a 4 inch group at 50 yards from a sandbag bench rest and another brand of ammo 5 shots could be covered by a dime.
I've seen 22 magnums do about same. Some are just picky about what they want for good groups.
Moral of story:
If it's not grouping try another brand of ammo or even style of bullet.
Align the sights and squeeze the trigger and don't stop. If the gun surprises you when it fires you are doing it right. Good luck.
Two in the black. That was the object right?
you'll never kill a leaf shooting like that.........
I bet you still enjoyed yourself
Seems accurate to me. Look how often those tiny lines were hit! That cannot be an accident!

My only question for you Lady Rae is Only 3 shots out of a 6 shooter??
That feat of willpower alone would be very hard for me, so I give you a promote! 😊
You Sir, are a Troublemaker.
only when I'm bored........
Brookwood, I had 12 shots.... But because of my conditions down there I have having a lot of trouble hardly ideal. I was flooded out.😢 My rifle target was better 😎

Rae, just a suggestion/word of advice. I most always put some vibrant Neon Lime Green paint on the front sight post to pick it up easier. It is even more important on this model, because of the slight indentations in the rear sight, making it difficult to sight properly.
My suggestion and 2 cents. Worth what you paid for it.
*I have mine here by my hand on the couch, where it normally lives. Have picked it up, cocked it, (only way you can see the rear sight notches) and drawn a bead across the room multiple times this am. Front sight post stands out, making sighting it easy.
Thank you Ken... I have red nail polish on my EDC ♥️ I'll have a better time of it when it dries out...

Ken only has the green polish because he didn't like how it looked on his nails and the reason he has no extra red...
Put a coat of white on first. Then what ever color floats your boat. It will brighten it up.
Et Tu Brutus?
(And) It's the tiny little Testors model paint jar. (1/4oz.)
What range/distance was this? Don't look bad to me at all.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
@Mr. Perfect it was about 10 feet... As I said I was having a rough time down there. I thought of taking a picture of my "range" but didn't.
