Anybody know anything about these? I had been wanting one but didn't know much about them or even knew anyone that had one.So I decided this would be a learn as you go and bought a 25 caliber Umarex Gauntlet and a hand pump to charge it. It took a while, and a few rest stops to get it charged up to 3000 psi.It has a eight shot mag and after about 3 mags pressure drops and about 30 or 40 pumps its ready again. This thing is pretty quite and super accurate. Its shooting a 25 grain pellet at about 875-900 FPS.Still a few things I have to figure out, like how much pressure to leave in the tank when it is not in use.I will probably get an electric air pump when the wife gets over what I paid for the gun and pump.Any experienced advice?

shouldn't have told her how much you paid for it.............
buddyb, I'm not familiar with that brand but with that kind of pressure it sounds like a bargain for $300. One of my ex-managers transferred to Munich 15+ years ago and he is told me about the high-end air guns available there. The are very expensive though but firearms are illegal in Germany unless they are kept in a approved hunting or similar club.
