I LOVE the 80's Ford F Series.... We have a 86 that's beyond restoration. Wonderful trucks... I like the stable front ends. Buy it. You won't regret it.

That is a very nice truck there Kasey! Compared to what you have to pay for one with 4 wheel drive today, it is a no-brainer for some young person living on a budget! The single cab to me is just about as good as my '07 Ford Ranger with those fold down jump seats that are worthless unless you have a couple pet monkeys!
Pretty sure it will do well on the auction and I will be following just to see how our times are changing.
I think the single cab is probably the most sought after, that's just my opinion though and my taste.
I have a 1989 F150 standard (single) cab, it's a five speed,4wd, I love the truck but I wish it was automatic and a short bed, this one has an eight foot bed.
Long bed trucks ride a lot better but short beds look much better.
Kasey thought your daughter wanted a truck? couldn't work out a trade with her car.......
I've got a 90 F-150 XLT...auto trans (non-4x4) , 302 engine, fully loaded with 121K original miles in great shape that belonged to my Dad, have thought about selling it for several years but just haven't been able to pull the trigger on it just yet ☹️. Hope yours goes sky high in the auction, that may give me an incentive. This will definetly be on my watch list 😀, good luck.

we need pictures
I'm curious why it isn't penny start no reserve.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
that right there is the perfect snow plow truck , put an 8 ft blade on it along with some air bags in the front springs
but that one is too nice to get all ate up with salt
what engine is in it ? 300 6 cyl. or V8 302 maybe 351 ? ????
All I know is it has a V8.
Not about to be accused of subverting someone else's sale or thread, besides me, computers and camera's don't work together very well if you know what I mean, I'm very technology lacking in that department....😀

Man, that is a Beaut! I had an '82 6-banger with a 4 speed, 4x4, overload springs and a single cab. I bought it to haul newspapers out of Des Moines back to the small towns and I needed every inch of the box. Saturday nights I had 3500 pounds of papers. Best pickup I ever had and if I could buy a new one today I would. But, emissions killed the straight six. I think it should do well.
I've got it set at his asking price...but he is also spreading the word on places like FB and his contacts. If it gets a bid before he sells it he will hold it until the end of the auction, but if he sells it offline I will have to remove the listing. I hope it gets a bid. Lots of people have it saved and its been seen LOTS of times.
I had an 85 custom ordered with extra heavy duty springs and axles . Man ordered it to mount a cabover camper on it .300 six with 4 speed with over drive . One of the two best trucks I ever owned
Nice
Great looking ride. I’d love to have that at hunting camp. Which reminds me…I need to go check my PowerBall ticket.
Great looking truck. Pretty sure those single cabs are sought after around here.
WOW. Nice truck. Maybe I shouldn't have bought the new zero turn!!! Wish I had the dough, I would buy that in a heart beat!!!
Great ride, but I won’t be surprised if it doesn’t get a single bid with an opening of $9100. It’s priced at “what he wants”…min bid. When you do that there’s no way to negotiate on GB. Part of why Kasey usually does penny starts…let the market decide the value. Which is likely less than $9100 for that truck in Alabama.
Nonetheless, I’d still love to have it.
I have NO clue what this thing is worth. I don't dabble in that market at all. What I do know is the car guys tend to do a LOT of trades. So, most likely this will go to someone that has some kind of widget that he wants and that will roll over to be traded for another thing. I don't know many guys that don't deal heavily in trades who deal with old cars and such.
