Twenty three years ago yesterday, I signed up for the talk boards !!! It has been an interesting ride since the beginning. I found the place at a dark time in my life. My Bride had cancer and sleep was an evasive luxury in those days. I spent many late nights reading the boards starting almost 5 months before signing up.
Through the years, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the wide range of discussions and topics. It has been a great place to learn, share, and laugh. So thank you all for putting up with me and sharing your time, humor, and wisdom...
To mark of the 23rd anniversary of my time here, I will be giving away a 1923 Peace Silver Dollar. Drawing will be Saturday.....

I've got you beat in the lurking dept. I spent, ahem, a few minutes here and there perusing the boards for quite a few years when I worked the gun counter. I have been retired since 2010 and continued to lurk before I joined up 4 years ago. I do miss some of the many past members because they sure kept this place hopping. Some got banned, sadly some have passed and others have just faded away. Change seems to be one of the few constants in life. Bob

As you know and we have shared emai I have been along for the ride also 23 yrs and like you i read the post a long time before I thought what the heck what's the worst that could happen and jumped in
now if I could spell and stop fat * on my phone I would not get as much flack lol
I think about all that time on here some nights and it's seems crazy that 23 yrs have just flow by
I do miss a lot of the great people who have passed away may they all RIP
And a lot of notable people who for various reasons have left also

William81, enjoy all your post and your pictures. i have one 1921 Peace Dollar given to Mom by Grandpa. Mom passed away with Cancer in '97 just as my Diane a few days before Christmas last year.
