Can anyone tell me if these grips are real staghorn? Is there a way to test them? Thanks!

These came in a parts kit identified as a Colt Army Special -38. Caliber 38 Special. Any info as to value will be appreciated!
Heat up a nail and stick it on the back side if they melt there not bone bone will give a smell that you would never forget
They look very much like some imitation stag grips that I have. As stated, plastic melts, stag does not.
The odor of burning bone is like burning hair.
