Springfield Arms Co. "Challenge" 22.

I recently purchased a Springfield Arms Co. "Challenge" 22 rifle. I have looked everywhere but have njot been able to find much on this gun.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    You didn't give much to go on, pics do help a lot.

    If it is a wood stocked single shot 22 with the word challenge on the left side of the receiver, it was made by Stevens Arms.

    Savage/Stevens used the Springfield Arms name on several of their products. The only info I can give is that if it does not have a serial number it is pre 1968. Bob
