Do you have guns that are

damaged in appearance? You know scratch, nick in wood, finish wearing?

I sure do. None of my guns are safe queens. All are tools and are used. Some bought used, some bought new. I don't like when they get a beauty mark, and try to take care of them but they are tools.

Some of my hunting firearms carry marks from being carried through the briers and woods etc. I call it character, most of my best hunting memories involve these beauties !

Most of my collection is gone now. The ones I have left are the ones that got used a lot and they have a fair share of character marks

A mixture of safe queens, military surplus & those with character.

I treat them with respect. They are tools and get used as such.

Im guessing my trap gun has 1,000,000 rounds through it. The fore-stock split 15 years ago & I have no idea if the top barrel even fires.

My Gen 3 Glock 34 is well over 200,000 rounds.

I don’t own a BBQ gun, but no heartburn with anyone who does.

All mine are to be used or are used.

As far as Safe Queens 👑 I saw a #7 Remington Rolling Block.... And at the list price it would have to be locked up 😁🙄

No safe queens but I have always treated my guns with great care .a few have some dings and scratches most were there when I bought the guns

most all mine were bought used over the years lack of funds kept me in the used sections at gun shows

but I would only buy the ones that were as close to new I could find

I know there just a tool and have helped a few co workers get ther guns back in working order from just neglect and not maintaing them Light rust or so dirty they would nt cycle

.one fellow I just had to ask its was just a 870 express but oh my gosh

He told me used it to beat the bushes and limbs out of the way When hunting

and I would swear as a boat paddle Several times

He was definitely used it as a tool lol

The only ones that I have that are dinged up, are ones that I bought that way. And I think there are only 2 of them.

My CC is scuffed pretty bad from rattling in the glovebox before I had the good sense to holster it and lash the holster down.

The rest have been handled with care. Very few dings or scratches.

I always buy wood. Many are banged up when I get them and I enjoy refinishing them. Get a lot of good deals too!!

Most of my safe queens were bought as investments over the last 40 years. I have sold the majority of the and did very well.

I try as hard as I can when I'm out hunting but I still bring home a new dent, ding,or scratch every time . I've sworn off buying guns with walnut stocks. As much as I like looking at them.

Most of my guns were bought new. Some look like they were dragged down an asphalt street with rocks , and other are safe queens. My 870 Wingmaster 12 gauge, looks like hell, but it is a tool and used as such. Killed many a pine deer, ducks, geese and rabbits with that old girl. I have quite a few safe queens that are going to make me some great money, when I retire. My works guns, I love with a few dents and scratches. It shows its character, and reminds me of some awesome hunts, with my dad, cousins and son. One of my many Marlin 30-30's , is beat too all heck. My wife bought it for me on my 20th birthday. That gun has been on many trips to PA, Missouri , Nebraska and Maryland. That gun too, has harvested many whitetail deer, as well as a few coyotes. Oakie
