Still looks new. I never cared for the looks of those Smifs. Until I got a 1006 for Christmas. Love it!
Ruger GP 100. Just used it again to qualify mid-term for CCL.

Had it tuned, shoots way better than me. Still have it.
First large caliber pistol was a 36 cal. colt navy clone . First center fire was a Norinco 1911a1 45acp .started a lifelong love affair with the 45acp cartridge and the 1911 platform .

Ruger Blackhawk .41 Magnum. Bought it in the summer of '78 for $125. That included a nice belt and holster, dies, and about 500 pieces of brass. And yes, it's an unmolested 3 screw.
Whitney 'Woverine', purchased at an auction when I was 18 (a looonngg time ago).
Ruger security six paid $179 in 1979. Still have it can still hit with it.
