RIP Larry.
RIP Sir.
Rest in Peace Larry. No one will fill those boots!!!. That makes two , in the last month. We had a 24 year old rodeo, up and coming star, killed here at Cowtown Rodeo. Dangerous sport. I wouldn't have the nerve these guys have. True tough guys.
Many years ago, my new bride and I visited The National Cowboy Hall Of Fame in Oklahoma City.
Their "Gun Shop" had a MINT condition "One Of A Thousand" Winchester '73......among many other fine firearms. We had a great time.
What really struck home with me........sadly.......was how many honorees had died in-the-ring.
RIP Larry.......
I have proudly worn his very nice namesake boots for years. RIP cowboy.

Made it to 79 years old. Wow! That's really quite impressive given his occupation. Rest well, Mr. Mahan, and thanks for being an inspiration to a soft headed 17 year old.
Not really a rodeo fan but I recognize the name! May he rest in peace.
