Family range day
Donna, Chris and I went to the gun range today. I think this is the first time we all shot together in many years. We took the 22 rifles, AR 15 and my 38-55. Of course my son out shot us. I wanted to try my handloads for the 38-55. I made the cases out of 30-30 brass and made the lead bullets. It was pretty accurate at 100 yards. Not great, but not bad either. Enough to kill a deer. Donna did an excellent job with it, as well as the AR. For me, It was just great to spend time with the family, and see both of them smiling and having a little competition between mom and son. These are the days that will be memories for a lifetime. We are all so busy, that we never have the time to spend together. This was my son's and wife's idea, so that made it even more special to me.
