My new old rifles

I got these two this year, the 1904 single shot Winchester at Tulsa and the Winchester Expert at the Colorado collectors show in Greeley, Colorado. They are both over a hundred years old and still crisp mechanically with good wood and bores. It's my costly addiction. I think the little 1904 is rather classy with the schnable fore end and the metal pistol grip /trigger guard.

Hard to fathom that those are over 100 years old!
Sweet!
You have some damn admirable rifles. I always enjoy seeing your posts.
Those are really nice. I love old .22s, got a bunch of them myself and you're right, it's a costly addiction ......... hard to believe that almost all of those 1890s - early 1900s rifles cost less than twenty bucks new, and quite a few under ten bucks, prices have changed a tad since then.
They're a real "hoot to shoot" too. 👍️
Yes sir, very nice
Yeah, but $10 was a months wages for some.
And he claimed he got bargains! 🤣
WOW, I really like that 04!!!!
