The Idaho Republican Party recently passed a resolution denouncing the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a “corrupt government agency” and calling for its abolition if it cannot be reformated. The 216 elected Republican representatives who make up the body passed the resolution unanimously. It listed a long list of excesses, abuses, and unconstitutional overreach that, according to the resolution, have “undermined the trust that the American people have in their government.” The COINTELPRO counterintelligence program, run by the FBI between 1956 and 1971, was one of the most egregious of these abuses, “illegally surveilling, infiltrating, and disrupting civil rights activists, political dissidents, and other individuals considered a threat to national security,” according to the resolution.

Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

It makes good press during their reelection campaigns for sure. However government never ever gives up the power it has taken either by law or by just decreeing it.

When did the Constitution grant the EPA the right to mandate car mileage numbers and diesel DEF usage? It is a power the feds granted themselves by legal decree that will never go away and only grow in power.
