Not to steal Lady Rae's thread;
When I was a kid in St.Louis there was a father/son demo company. The old man bought an military tank. Put a battering ram head on end of barrel. He would take down the bldgs. with his tank running in and out. Oh man, if they got like a entire block to clear the old man had a ball.
The son had a track hoe and he'd just sit there. When asked why, he would say his job is just to clean up dad's mess or dig him out.
Always was envious of that old guy.

That would have made a great video!! I've always been enamored by how fast a large structure that took months and months to build can be totally gone! Have spent hours watching videos of imploding big buildings with explosives. It is almost an art form and takes a lot of skill and knowledge to do what those experts do!
A few years ago, a brand new McDonnald's restaurant was built about a quarter mile from my home along West Grand Traverse Bay here in TC Michigan. I enjoyed walking there with my dogs and took full advantage of their dollar menu at that time. After only 4 years of business, the company decided the location was not meeting financial expectations and within less than a weeks time, the entire place was GONE! Just a vacant lot to this day!!
I’d say that guy was creative, take some old army surplus and put it to use like that, and had a ball running it at the same time. When I was a kid and they would build a house near by, us kids would be entertained for hours watching them dig the basement out with a bulldozer. And when they were done we had the dirt piles to play on for entertainment. Good old days.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
