Anyone here remember this skit from the Smothers Brothers?
Hilarious patter and scripting. 🤣
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

No, I do not.
Fraid so.
What kid watched the Smothers Brothers?
My generation.
I remember watching their show just not that one
I do remember Goldey Hann? On laugh in dancing in her bikini with all the tattoos
For a young fellow that was amazingto see lol
Tom was a heck of a talent and he and Dick had a knack for comedy with two straight men playing off each other. Remember the show fondly.
Brad Steele
Don't bury him yet Don, he is only 86, and says the prognosis is good.
And that was WAY before my time.🙄
I remember her very well! Her name is Leigh French and she was on the Smother's Brothers show in a segment called "Share a Little Tea With Goldie" or something close to that.
I sure miss the comedy shows of that era.
Did she shave her legs for this?
Watched it pretty regular as a kid and yes I remember seeing that.
Me too - It was a must watch show when I was a kid. They were almost cancelled because of their, for the time at least, edgy comedy. They were groundbreakers and today their humor would be rated G.
I didn't realize that Tom was still with us. I wonder if he can still live up to the title of The Yo - Yo man? Bob
Yo.
I thought this post was gonna be about LF's daughter. She had a hippy thing goin' on a couple years ago. The abbreviation was S. H. I. T. Southern Hippy Something. I can't remember the last part.
