I have two pistols at auction, both with starting bids at one price, a reserve price higher and a "buy it now" at an even higher price. I have one bid on each pistol from the same buyer at exactly my reserve price. Doesn't that seem unusual? Buyers are not supposed to be able to see the reserve price, correct? It seems like at least one buyer can see my reserve price.

He can't see your reserve.
I am assuming that the buyer put in his max bid and the auto bid feature took it up to your reserve bid. In other words if your reserve was $100 and he punched in $200 the auto bid would only take the bid up to the amount necessary to win. If someone else bids say $110, the auto bid will increase his bid enough to still be the winning bid and continue until his max is reached. Bob

Might be nice if you'd copy and paste the auctions here, assuming they're on GunBroker, of course! You're liable to generate some more interest in your auctions among the forum denizens.

Both are incorrectly in the wrong category, I've asked Admin to move to Semi-auto pistols. (Yes, I know, I can be dense at times)
Looking at your auctions now that you posted the numbers. I'd say @BobJudy is spot on with why the reserve was met on "first" bid. Nothing strange at all going on.
Thank you guys so much. I'm no longer suspicious. :)
More pics & a more detailed description would help. You can add those.
And as to why the same bidder on your two auctions, likely he found the one in a search liked it and bid, and chose to look at what else you were offering and found the other that way.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
The nerve on that guy , placing a good bid on your items🤓
By golly, I'd say you did well. Congrats. @jclemons
