A dozen large eggs were $1.06 today at Wal-Mart, $1.07 yesterday at Aldi.

I guess that means the egg shortage is long over with.
How about where you are?? I'm guessing prices are pretty much the same.

I noticed last Monday that they were still almost 5 bucks for a 1 1/2 dozen carton at my local Sams Club. Bought them at Kroger for about half that. I guess the flock is recovering from last years bird flu and maybe chicken prices will go down a bit also. I'm paying about 25% less than a year ago but an even bigger drop would be appreciated. Bob
1.79 here.
Free at my house. If you don't count feed, water, labor, etc.
Free home raised eggs are the most expensive eggs there are. Ask me how I know this!😁
About 6 years ago when I was raising egg laying chickens, I ran out of egg cartons. The local farm supply store wanted 50 cents a carton. The Meijer supermarket across the road from the farm supply place was selling those same cartons full of eggs for 50 cents a dozen!! 😲
See dreher, Brandon told us that inflation is subsiding. 😉
Austin, truly fresh free range eggs are amazing in freshness and flavor. But lord have mercy they are expensive!!!
Buying your eggs from someone is WAY cheaper than raising them yourself!!
My egg lady came yesterday, I pay $3 a dozen and they are good large brown eggs.
Costco is still selling 24/$5.
$1.01 at Aldi today.
