What’s the least accurate rifle you have ever owned?
Wouldn't it be kind of nice if we could take a new or used rifle out for a test drive....er shoot before opening up the wallet or purse (if you are so inclined) 😎
Guess that I have had that opportunity a few times when I have purchased a few guns from friends out sharing some range time together. Some of those purchases took a few years to change hands but I'm a very patient fellow!
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Remington 710 in .270 Winchester. Was one of the cheaper package rifles you could buy with a scope already on it. Bought it in the late ‘90’s when I wasn’t making much money. It MAYBE could get 4”-5” at 100 yards. But did manage to take a buck at about 30 yards with it. Haven’t fired it in years. Second worst gun was a Carcano that nobody was able to get good groups with. It’s been long gone.
It means because they were so inaccurate I could not make a big enough backboard to measure at 100 yards so using a large backboard at 25 yards one shot 12" groups X4=100 yards =48" the other shot 18" groups at 25 yards = X4=100 yards = 72"
I am no expert but i suggest those barrels were shot out 🤣

Everything I owned made by Remington. Including Remington ammunition in rifles that were otherwise quite accurate.
What does this and this mean? " 48" MOA & 72" MOA
Mine- a Oly CAR-AR 15 11-1/2" barrel with a 5-1/2" flash suppressor. 7" 8"@100yds.
