Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

VMRUD means " this side toward enemy"?
For the man that has everything.
Todays society would not have any idea what that is. OR: The SWAT team will have you surrounded wit a lot of 'splainin; to do.
Yup. I don't know if they still use those today. But even if so, only somebody with Army time would recognize them.

BINGO. But the local 'SWAT team' (one overweight Deputy who just sits an his vehicle and the Sheriff who wouldn't know a claymore from a bowl of JELLO) probably wouldn't even show up.

Nothing says "Get of my lawn" quite like a Claymore.
They also make a hitch cover to discourage tailgaters....
Not sure if I included this in my first book, but...
When I was a FAC supporting the 173rd AB at LZ English, the VC started sneaking in at night and turning the Claymores around, then rattling the razor wire. Several GIs got badly wounded when they touched off the Claymores.
In response, they brought in a Korean soldier who promised to end this practice. Instead of hiding in the wire himself, he watched with a starlight scope, and when the VC sapper reached for the Claymore, the Korean set it off. Nothing left but the sapper's hands. He hung those hands in the outer wire as a warning. No more sappers.
True story.
I was in the SeaBees. At Danang, the Marines asked us to pour claymores into cement filled 55 gallon steel drums, so they couldn't be turned around. We welded pieces of pipe to the sides so they could be anchored in place on the perimeter. An added advantage was the back blast was almost done away with.
Bird dog eh????😁
Reminds me of a meme I saw recently:
