I'm, among other things, a small time store front FFL tucked away in Hawthorne, NV.

My license expires Sep 1st. I received renewal paperwork early June. Sent it in with check couple days later. Check cashed 22 June. Waiting, waiting, waiting.......(Jaws music).

No word as of 15 Aug, so I called Reno and Las Vegas offices to say whatup?

Call returned next morning by both offices. License sent 18 Jul. "We'll track it down and let you know when we have news."

This morning I walked into the office and had a voicemail that said the hard copy of the license would be arriving in 10-15 days. Oh, and check your computer; we emailed a copy of the new license that you can do business on until you receive the hard copy.

Pretty good.☺️

That is good news, and very timely considering people shortages in every office in the country. Congrats.

It's good to have some good news today.

Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

I got a text message yesterday to head up to the Sheriff's office and pick up my new CCW permit (renewal) happy day.

    Congratulations on the FFL 🤩
