Ok guys I’ve already bought this one I have it in hand the guy I bought it from says this one was in ww1 help please to identify I was put more pics when I take it apart thanks yall
Comments
that was never in ww1 (or 2 or 3) it has a commercial (non government ) frame and an altered slide
I’ll tell what I paid for it after I find more info thanks Mike I didn’t think the slide looked right
Looking for any help I can get on what this really is I sure do miss perry shooter in times like this
Yup Mike your right it’s and auto ordnance lower not sure who made barrel and this slide looks like altered colt side I gave 650 this one stings litttle
You don't need Perry on that. Mr. Whiskey has it on target. Start reading and learning. it's never to late. I am still learning after 50 years of messing with firearms. $650, so more of a triple sting since the slide is messed up also or you could have sold it as a Colt UNALTERED slide but not a chance to do that now. imo only.
Thanks for the answers yup love and learn I collect pre 64 Winchesters and am very schooled on them but colts I know enough to get me in trouble just like I’ve done lol no sense crying my own fault but thanks guys for yall info
just as a consolation $650 isn't too bad for a good 'shooter'
Yea I’m gona shoot it if it shoots well I’ll make it a carry or truck gun thanks so much for the help
