of my own.
Got on the schedule to have our sprinkler system blown out for the season. After the $30.off discount, it's still going to cost $115. That's just crazy to me, but gotta get it done.

Well, if you're going to do a system of any size you're gonna need one with a large tank.
BTW, when I lived in the Spokane Valley, I could get it done by some outfit that went around and did it for $30. I had nine zones.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Those are the days I remember, but are long gone. 1-15 zones = $ 145
I have 5 zones.
Last time I did that was 2021. I doubt prices have risen that significantly.

That is crazy. There's a local guy here that does them for 60 bucks. In Colorado dollars, that's practically free.
Home Depot has 20 gallon compressors for 350-450 bucks. That'd be about 4 years before breaking even in your case AND you'd have a big compressor for other jobs. Could be a good deal.

Let me get this straight. You water the grass so you can mow it?
I just bought this one a month or so ago, and couldn't be happier with it.

the air is free but you have to pay to compress it 🤣
Heck!! I'm still blazing mad at those Pay For Air pumps that are now in most gas stations!!
I will probably get over it. It took me two decades to get used to paying for bottled water! 😕
A good air compressor comes in mighty handy for so many things!! I have two and if you count that little portable combo machine that will give you a jump start or inflate a tire, I have three!
I still water my grass and gardens with a hose above ground. I also collect and use antique sprinklers.
Many years ago, I put small Harbor Freight air compressors in all our family cars/trucks.......via Christmas stockings. They run via the vehicle dc outlet sockets.
Sooner or later........they've come in REAL handy......for everyone. 😉
I’m thankful, a farmer friend calls every fall and ask if I’ll be home that day. Yepper, and he shows up with a big compressor on wheels, his son and hired hand. He and I enjoy a cuppa coffee and ‘voila’ the system is winterized. 😊
I have a 2 stage monster purchased years ago that still work. Cant work without one.
Harbor Freight oil-less 30 gallon 175PSI 110V for around $250 on sale. I got one for an interim compressor until my shop gets rebuilt and a 60 gallon 220V is installed. After using it for 10 months, not sure I'll get a 220V for a while. I'll just plumb in a spare 30 gallon air tank from a long dead compressor and end up with 60 gallon of reserve air anyway.
This compressor will handle most any 'homeowner' type air needs and only takes up 2' x 2' of floor space.
