I’ve found no b in my reference books
Gotta be browning remake
"Gotta be browning remake"............nope the 'B' belongs there, just denotes the changes from the 'pre' b series. I've got #1900xxB
You beat me to it. Also I believe the Miroku (Browning) was only made in .357. Bob
So this guns ligit
Also gona buy this Marlin only reason it’s in 25-20 I can buy both for 3300.00
Is that Winchester a refinish,? Hard to tell from pics, but looks like it could be.
In that serial range they had the B behind the serial number except if it had a pistol grip and there wasn't room to put it on. The 73 started with no letter and then it had the A starting around 88,000 then they went to the B. The letters were changes in the manufacturing process. Its hard to tell from the screen shot pictures but it looks original and if it is, at $2000 it under the money.
