anyone else have one of these old "adjustable" pliars ?
have had these for 50 + years and have never run across another
instead of being angled like slip joints, the jaws stay even like a crescent wrench no matter the opening size

I have a pair that belonged to my great uncle, I also have a pre-starret micrometer he was a machinist pre-wwii.
Never seen a pair like that in my lifetime. They look like an electricians tool. You can tell by the indent in the jaws and where they scissor together, it looks like a stripper or bender for heavy gauge wire??? Not sure. Going to copy this and send it to my dad. He was an electrical engineer for RCA and might know. Oakie
Beats me , never seen them either .
Nope, but they gotta be worth close to a dollar.
I'd use them for fencing pliers, on bobwire
I like them, hmmmm.
I think this is the same, geared pliers??
Eifel Geared Plierench Pliers Wrench Locking (D3R) Antique Lineman's Tool made in USA
Vintage ones going for $62- $99 on elsewhere
net old set of plyers
I have a pair similar to what Joe posted, except I don't think they lock. Been ages since I laid eyes on them.
Hi Keith, good to see you posting. Any updates on my two pistols?
did you not get the e-mail ?
second start on that little williams, one of the most challenging jobs EVER
worst part is not being able to stay at the bench for long, but figuring this one out does help take my mind off the chemo sickness
I didn't get it Keith. You do have my new email address that changed a couple of years ago don't you?
I sent you a PM just in case.
