not you fellows out west hot, but for here it is HOT. was down in the garage messing around, I had to remove the battery from my side by side to get rid of some mouse nests, and somehow I got a wire wrong and the winch doesn't work now. So it took it back out of the battery box, behind the seat and right in front of the back wheel, scrunched over then bending back up in the wheelwell, this old body doesn't like to bend like that anymore, and did I mention it is HOT, I have air conditioning in the garage as it is attached to the house but I left the garage door up, and mother nature was outperforming the A/C. I was sweating in less than 5 minutes, trying to see in the halfdark area had to get the trouble light and hook it inside the wheel well and well the light buld just added more heat.
finally got it figured out, I had pulled the winch line out to use it to move my workbench the other day, when I found out it wasn't working and couldn't get the line wound back up so had to straighten it out in the driveway/street and hooked it around a cement block to keep a little tension while I spooled it back in, got that done and I felt like I had taken a shower in my clothes, I then noticed my fish pond wasn't as clear as it should be so I figured as long as I was outside I pulled the filter and backflushed it with the garden hose and the u/v light was filled with gunk. well by this time I was down another gallon or so of sweat so decided to call it a day, the dog wanted to go for a ride so I let him in the side by side and took a short cruise around the neighborhood to cool down, it didn't work the heat from the engine was worse than the sun beating down on us. some days there just isn't any winning, though for the first time in a long time I fixed a couple of things without something else breaking, gonna spend the rest of the afternoon in the recliner, I was gonna go shoot a little, but I am done going outside for a few days.......

108 today and tomorrow then the start of only in the 90's, been a high of over 90 mostly over 100 for the last 3 months....I'm ready for some Fall weather haven't accomplished much this Summer, just too dang hot.
You Mountaineers are lucky to be able to ride you ATV 's almost everywhere.
you are right about that Jim. One thing I never understood though, when they legalized them to be ridden on the public roads.
Most places you go to trail ride you have to wear a helmet, but you can buzz down a major highway without one! never made sense to me......
93 in the high desert. Several degrees above average for us too.
We are in a cool spell. 50 when I got up and a high of 60.
98 here today, but the humidity is through the roof!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH. I told the guys to knock off at 230 and go get in the air. Working in attics and stuff on hot days, will drain you to the point of exhaustion. Nobody was getting anything done because of the heat right now. Going to be cooler next week and we will catch up.
Just a tad north of ya.........and we reached 109 degrees today......AND they're calling for 110 tomorrow. Whew!!🥵
BUT...........80 by the middle of next week......AND.........wait for it............RAIN!!!😃 Hopefully.........then summer will end.😉
Well...........it seems I erred.....again.......in my previous post.
We topped out today at 112 degrees. Blew old record, for the date, out of the water by 8 degrees.
Gonna be cooler tomorrow, and next week.
Hope this is the beginning of the end........of this prolonged heat crap.🥵🥵
