Once Steve Martin taught me

yoshmysteryoshmyster Member Posts: 21,858 ✭✭✭✭

Long time ago I was channel surfing when I heard Steve say these words. Back then if you didn't have a TV Guide you couldn't find out what you were watching. This was my case. I figure 20+ years ago I found the movie's title in IMDB. Then soon after I got the DVD. I guess this is why I buy so many DVDs. I know what I'm watching if I can find this movie in the pile (I so do need to organize the collection).

Here's the trailer.

There's going to be lots of onions being cut today.

Flash back to the old days

When we had two channels not a big deal

Then cable came into play and it was nice to see what movies were coming up then vcr's came into our life's made it easy to catch the shows we wanted to see

Now with all the things like firesticks

Any move or show any time is almost possible

watched it and I forgotten most of the movie. I thought it was going to be a tear jerker but it wasn't. Must've confused it with another movie.

It was funny seeing things hasn't changed much since '91. I wonder how this movie would've been filmed, when L.A. had that King riot?
