Hit the range today..... Back up/Secondary gun practice...
It was a great start to the day. In the high 50's, clear and next to no humidity. So it was a great day for cutting hay and while that was going on, I headed to the indoor range...
Met up with a buddy and we shot some of our back up firearms. Between the two of us and we shot 7 different guns. I am on the security team at our church so I try to get over and practice with different firearms fairly often. I ended up shooting a S&W 642, S&W 351PD, Glock 42, Glock 43, Ruger LCP Max, Ruger LCR and an NAA PUG.... Interesting mix of calibers and sizes. Some drawing and firing drills between 5 and 15 yards.
Some one hand drills and off hand drills. It was a good time
Anyone else hitting the range this week ?

Going this Saturday. Lever action extravaganza! 22, 357, and 30-30.

Went Sunday gave the deer rifles a final sighting 30-06 and 270 Weatherby and plinked with the new CVA Scout 44 mag for a single shot that is a fun little rifle
Good day, good practice, with good friends. Well done
What .357mag Lever Action do you have Kevin?
I have a Henry Big Boy Steel Carbine Side Gate in .44mag. Love it.
My Son (on my recommendation) has a Rossi 92 .357mag/.38Special with the same caliber in a revolver.
*Nice @William81. I am a big proponent of the 642 Airweight. (Big following here, if you follow the "What CCW do you carry?" Threads.)
Extreme NE TN/W NC ya'll. 😁
Henry Big Boy, brass. One of my favorites.

Taking the M1 Garand, 22 Hornet and my 38-55 to shoot some reloads I made. Last night, I found about 150 rounds of Jap 7.7 that I reloaded in different grains. Gonna let the son play with that. The sad part is, we have to be back home early to go to dinner with friends.
I really want to dial in the Hornet, for coyote season. I fireformed some 30-30 cases into 38-55, so I have been real anxious to try these out!!! Chris loves the war guns, so he will be shooting up those until they are red hot!!!!!!! LOL. Just being with him is the best part. Love seeing that boy smile!!
Nice!!! What are you putting thru the Hornet these days?
