Made my RWS Diana better. On the cheap!

I finally looked since I got fed up with the plastic butt pad slipping from my last outing. I ordered a rubber butt pad. A cheap slip on rubber buttstock I found one on fleabay for $1.95 and $4.75 for shipping. When I ordered it I didn't expect much since it cost less than the shipping and I didn't read the description. Well got the thing and I saw it was made by Pachmayr. Not bad for $7.00 since I was just hoping it would fit and it did just fine.

I was fully expecting for this to fail for some reason so I was already planning to buy an Adjustable Buttplate. One of those aluminum base that can be moved up and down and side to side. But since the slip on is working I won't. Or will I not?

Did Lyman buy Pachmayr?

So I took off the plastic butt pad that came on the Diana so the slip on would sit flat to the wood. Also I didn't want to add more to the stock which it did but it's not too bad. I may order another one just in case the one I got rips.

I can shoulder it and the silly thing will stay there. Nice. I may have to go to the farm to shoot ground squirrels. I may buy a shooting stick in Mono or Bi for next season.
