Looking for at least 2 T/C Compass 6.5 Creedmoor magazines. It seems they also are used for 308 and 243. I have searched GB and that other site with no luck. Model #110097. I put this on the Wanted forum, but thought maybe a bit more exposure might help.

A website saying something is in stock don't mean what it used to. Been burned many times especially since nearly every web page out there doesn't even warehouse the items they sell.
Went to the site. No problem on the $100 minimum to order, but they want a "Vanilla" gift card that has to be purchased at CVS or Walmart, not my credit card. Based out of Alaska and looks fishy to me. Anyone bought from them?

This is a definite scam site. Look at the date on the bottom left. Also it's a Swiss domain and shows an Alaska address and they don't take credit cards just gift cards. Do not use.
I bought a couple from an ebay seller. About 50% of retail.
I suggest using caution while loading especially if the magazines are cold. I load mine before going out in cold weather.
He asked, I looked and posted what I found. If its a scam sorry at a glance they looked legit. From looking around it looks like you're SOL. I helped several folks here find stuff this is it for me, Ill mind my own business from here on out enjoy.
Sam, please continue doing what you do. Scam sites pop up all the time and they try to look legit. I just noticed a couple red flags and wanted to make sure no one fell for this one.
Been there, and some of them looked LEGIT. Did some more diligence and yea, many are scams. Anytime a redflag in my brain says stop, I do it now.
Sam, no foul from here! I really appreciate your efforts and reply. We all need to look out for each other to prevent some thief taking advantage of us. You done good!!!!
I'll just keep looking, thanks everyone.
A friend sent me this link.

I was searching for a magazine for my Venture the only place I found one is that other site that hates guns. When Smith and Wesson announced they was dropping TC that stuff disappeared almost overnight
Yeah, I probably just had my head in the wrong place and didn't realize that fact. My and my friend's rifles shoot really good, and we haven't had any problems with them after the trigger jobs I did that changed the trigger pull from about 7lb to a crisp 3lb.
New design listed for sale on e@#y. Looks like 3-d printed single stack 5 and 10 rounds plus a single shot SLED.
Thanks! I'll check them out.
I ordered a SLED just for 'range use' since it's actually easier to just drop a round into the ejection port than fiddle with the magazine.
I ordered a 5 rd off eBay for $50, then found the website of the company. They sell the 5 rd for $40. That's what I get for not being nosy! Supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I did contact the company asking them to join GB, told them they would reach more shooters than through eBay. 😉 I will post my opinion after I get it and try it out.
Im having a problem finding a decent mag for a Mini 14 in .300 blackout.
My SLED was supposed to be delivered today but didn't make it.
'Im having a problem finding a decent mag for a Mini 14 in .300 blackout.'
So, common .223 mags aren't working? What is the problem?
I wasnt aware of the fact you could use a .223 mag for the .300 blackout? Enlighten me please.
Howdy! I'm just checking in, referred over to the forums by GRDAD45. I'm an 07 FFL in Washington State and have been making new vertical feed box mags for the TC Compass rifles (so far in .243, 6.5 creedmoor, 7mm-08, 308, .270, and 30-06). I'm not going to shill a bunch of external links all over the place, but once my merchant service processor is set up to handle Gunbroker I'll start listing them here (supposedly by the end of the week, but we'll see!). In the meantime, if anyone has any questions about them feel free to ask / message me.
Welcome, Libertytree! I received the magazine today. After a VERY small amount of fitting it snapped right in and fed 5 rounds in and out of the rifle flawlessly several times (even upside down). I emailed LibertyTree to invite him here, he replied that he is going to list on GB. Hope he becomes a regular here.
Im listening Mobuck!

OK. The .300 uses the same diameter case as the .223 but shorter. The ogive(shape of the bullet nose) of the .300 loaded round sits in approximately the same spot as the 223's case shoulder. Generally speaking, this allows the .223 mag to hold and feed the .300 rounds. Some magazines handle this task better than others.
These are generalities but should give you the idea.
BTW, my SLED for the T C Compass arrived and seems to work fine with 3 different types of 6.5 Creedmoor ammo (common soft point, SST, and ELD type match).
Thanks, now I just have to decide which one to try.
Not to take away from the selling point of the aftermarket mag but I feel that 'saving' the OEM mag for hunting by using the replacement for range/practice is worthwhile to me-especially the single load device.
That was the original goal when I was designing these new mags; providing something people could use for the range / matches or as a replacement if their factory mag was lost or damaged. The factory rotary mags are better for hunting in my opinion because they're a flush fit and won't catch on stuff while my box mags stick out a couple inches from the bottom of the rifle.
I do actually have a rotary feed version of my mags made, but they're much more complicated to make and assemble. I'm still fiddling with that rotary design along with stuff like adapters so people can use AICS-style mags they already have for other rifles.
I'm liking my single shot encore better all the time.
Nice work GD45! I'd give you a promote if I could.
I've finally got my merchant service processing set up for Gunbroker and have a cluster of TC Compass mags listed now in single shot, 5 round, and 10 round versions (for .243, 6.5 creedmoor, 7mm-08, 308, .270, and 30-06 calibers). As with the "other" auction site listings they're a bit more expensive (by $5) than on my own site to cover listing costs.
@LibertyTreeVentures while it is against the guidelines to post competing site links, you can post a link to your GB auctions, we call it a "Shameless Plug"
Thanks! Either way I'll avoid cluttering someone else's thread with advertisements and just respond to any questions that may come up.
Looks really good! Hope you have a lot of success with your sales.
