Good buddy. This here’s the BUSHWACKER, come on!
If you were a cb’er, what was yer handle?
“What we’ve got here, is, failure to communicate.”

Roger that good buddy! No CB handle here.
Ya got R J here Bushwacker, c'mon back!
If you get enough replies -Mercy sakes we could have us a convoy! 😁 Bob
Never just one . I went by different names trying to find one I really liked
But I sure used the CB big time
Back in the hay day almost every one had one
I would say you in the silver chevy or any number of cars and ocassion when I was on the interstate
get the heck out of my way I coming thru Worked about 97% of the time
Part of the good old days of my youth gone by we enjoyed that will never be repeated
Down side
I had long light blond hair it way past my shoulders And a t-top mustang
Many times a trucker would say how about that blonde beaver in the mustang
I would say something like get your eyes tested or look closer lol
No.longer have a CB the mustang or sadly the hair
A convoy would be great!
Bushwacker was my handle when I was 4-wheeling in my 68 Bronco! (Which I have had for 53 years).
”Merlin” is my call sign when I am flying.
How 'bout you Bushwacker, you got the Winterhawk peddling East on the 40, get back....
I was the Chestnut. Because I'm not a leg man.
Back in the day my handle was "wild Weasel."
Got my ears on, Winterhawk. Never trucked the “40”. Stay outa the ditch, brother!
Hornet70 here good buddies....
Watch your back door.....Watch for Smokies taking pictures North of Mile Marker 101
The old movie smokey and the bandit sumed up CB s and use quit well in my humble opinion
And watch out for the bear in the air
I have to add I was a butt hole on ocassions as I would key my Mike and play a song all the way through just to tick off people I only did a couple times
So, DR, you’re the guy playing the music!!
Live up to your name and get back in the ditch and stay there! 😀😀
Back in the day I went by "the lonesome GI" ... Wow that brings up a lot of memories, the cell phones of yesteryear...
You got 'Snow-Leopard' here Bushwacker on I-10 - c'mon back! By the way - I'm the one in the Ford F-150 that going to run over you if you don't speed up to the speed limit and get out of the left lane.
Best Regards - AQH
I ran with the "Wild Turkey" handle I still use.
On day on the I-40 in the Texas Panhandle loudmouth was going on about how the smokies were in the other lane so he had nothing to worry about.
I advised him smokies could cut across the median in that area, and about then one did but was after someone else, not the loudmouth
A good friend was ‘battleship’ ,,,,,, his last name was Tytenicz (pronounced Titanic).
I don’t know if he saw the irony in that or not.
I was and still am "Custom Crash". I had a beautiful custom done 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS convertible, that I wrapped around a tree😥. My uncle gave me that name afterwards. 😂 A few days after the accident, My uncle put that name on the side of my car with duct tape. He is still my favorite uncle till today. Still have an old K20 whip on my pickup, for when I travel to PA.
Funny you bring that up, here's what I'm doing, waiting in line at the elevator playing on my phone.
I was not only one for sure doing it
And your on track as far as my user name I spent a lot of time in the ditch lines and crashing a lot of nice cars and trucks
my cars just could not keep up with my abilities lol
"Tinman". Was a Butler building contractor.
10/4 has been my birthday as long as I can remember.
That does bring back memories, we were moving around the country a lot. Started CB's in Madison, WI went by The Marlin and SSB was WSB 969. It was sure nice while we were moving, still have 2 radios in the garage. Remember keep The Sunny Side up and the Dirty Side Down!!
I was the Tennessee Long Hunter and the wife was Lucky Lady. I talked on the way to work with the Ol' Fisheyed Fool, Rockin Robin and the Sweet Thang (sexiest voice on I-40. Around here "good buddies" were happy, and you started a fight if you called someone that.
Possum Chop - cause my love for the critters.👀
In 67 and 68 we still had an eight party crank phone. Everybody around used CBs because they were a lot better reception. Every pickup had a radio. My skip name was wundudnee.
Look at that coyote run, have you seen my dogs? I have been known to key up a little Hank Sr. occasionally.
I was the Hound Dog and this reminded me of a funny story.
We were out in a bay when my father's boat died & we had to be towed in by the Auxiliary Coast Guard. While being towed, they kept asking for the name of the boat. I answered 10-4. They asked again & I said TEN-FOUR. This kept going and got to be like a "Who's on first" routine. We had a good laugh when at the dock they saw that the boat's name was, 10-4.
I was DIAMONDBACK, because I really like those snakes...
JIM...........
kaws 3 niner 76.........and Mike Wiskey
I did use a CB when driving trucks in the late 70's and early 80's.... My favorite memories though were cruising around and talking to girls when we were in High School !
KZR-0376 Rainbow rider. Way before the rainbow was corrupted . It was and is and will always be ,God's promise to us
Yep! Late 70's/early 80's. I had a single side band, but couldn't find many to talk to.
Fast Eddie - 38 years in a loggin' truck.
