Guns/bows/wife

About twenty years ago, my wife and I got into a discussion, more like a little argument, over me buying guns and bows. Let me state this, neither one of us ever take money from our paychecks, to buy anything we want. I save birthday money, scrap copper money and cash jobs. About twenty years ago, I wanted to buy some guns for short term investments. She was animate to not buy the guns. I went and bought them after a further discussion. The following week, I handed her three thousand dollars in profit. I told her to go buy herself something or put it away. I have doing that ever since, without a argument from her.

I have also been buying and selling old Bear bows, that I find at yard sales, auctions and flea markets. Last week I bought a Bear Tigercat from 1953 and a Bear Grizzly from 1959, along with about 50 arrows, for 40 bucks, at a flea market. I put them up for sale ,and both sold. One for 227.50 and the other for 425.00. I decided to put this money away in our little vacation fund.

The reason I'm posting this is, If you guys and gals are ever out and about, and see these old Bear bows for sale cheap, snatch them up!!!! Most people have no idea what they are worth , or in my case last week, the guy just didn't want to put in the time selling them online. Some know what they are worth, but just don't want the hassle . If any of you have any questions about these old bows, let me know and I can tell you what they are worth. Oakie
