Reminds me of one morning I was sitting in a ground blind and had a button buck stick his whole head through the window to smell the muzzle of my 308. He never got alarmed or anything, just wandered off downwind of me.
I took a mounted head to the woods and put in front of a buddy's game camera. He was so exited. We laughed till we couldn't stand up.
My son's brother in law had deer hunted very little. Had shot a bow quite a bit, but just rarely hunted. A few years back, we were all bow hunting and he came along. The evening before he got to the cabin, we put a large buck decoy behind some brush about 35-40 yards from the leaner he was going to be on. Placed it just so he could see it but could not get a shot at the heart/lung area. He said it took him a while to figure it out. 3 out of the 4 hunters got a chuckle out of it.
had my dog with me one time and went down to my cousins stand/camera. got behind the camera and walked up and held the dog backwards in front of the camera. later during buck season we got to tallking about some strange things we saw on the camera he just looked at the group and asked who was the dogs butt..........
