l wonder how this will impact hunting overseas??

Another classic case of big government sticking its nose where it dont belong.
Depends on what you're hunting I suppose. As I'm sure the government will keep on sending arms and ammunition to selected countries, friend or foe.
Is it imports or exports?
I read it was no imports.
Must have been fake news site.
Searched a bit and it is exports. Afraid the enemy will get their paws on them.
Yup, no weapons for hunting and civilian defense, but we'll be sending plenty of weapons of all sorts for killing people.
Bad guys alread have enough AK-47's and fodder to last until the end of time.
Now you know one reason Ammo Inc. is making all these payment changes on GB's, they need the extra income to cover their purchase. Maybe they got a heads-up from someone on Biden's export policy beforehand so they could make timely changes on here. Worldwide black-marketeers & smugglers will be the ones making the big $ for a while, too many wars going on to ignore huge profits.

Yep, no exports is gonna HURT our legitimate US businesses, just like they want! SMH. Any USA weapons that the terrorists have, came straight from our military. You thank can ole sleepy Joe for that one! This will only hurt US companies, will have ZERO effect on terrorism!
And yes, the govt is still allowing exports to 40 countries that THEY deem ok.
Maybe they figure they left enough crap in Afcrapistan to fill the bad guy's needs for the next 100 years so there's no sense sending 'em any more.
Who knows, with all that stock that may have been destined for overseas now sitting in warehouses maybe prices will come down on some of the items so they can clear it out. (Tryin' to find a silver lining here. I know it's a stretch!)
Could be someone thinks we may need the weapons and ammo here on our soil in the near future but it's unlikely Bidens thoughts since he's incapable of thinking.

Export only.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. has stopped issuing export licenses for most civilian firearms and ammunition for 90 days for all non-governmental users, the Commerce Department said on Friday, citing national security and foreign policy interests.
The Commerce Department did not provide further details for the pause, which also includes shotguns and optical sights, but said an urgent review will assess the "risk of firearms being diverted to entities or activities that promote regional instability, violate human rights, or fuel criminal activities."
The Commerce Department declined to comment beyond the posting on its website.
Export licences for Ukraine and Israel, as well as some other close allies, will be exempted from the temporary halt in exports.
Exporters can continue to submit license requests during the pause, but they will be "held without action" until the pause is lifted.
The pause does not affect previously issued export licenses, Commerce said.
This might have something to do with it...
Turns out Der Fuhrer got a bit irked with the Israelis for handing out weapons to it's citizenry.
