Pretty awesome vid.
Very nice to share, thank you. Reminiscent of the camp I stayed in Michigan's Upper Peninsula which was not as nice as that
We have an old set of chairs exactly like the one she's sitting on at about 1 1/2 minutes into the post!
That was very hard to watch, but made me smile a little. You see, two years ago, I lost my cousin Tommy at deer camp. Him and I were like brothers, and spend a lot of time hunting together each year. After his death, i lost all drive to hunt anymore. It is just not the same. But it did bring back some very fond memories and all the laughs we had. I still have my dad and others to hunt with, but something is just missing without Tommy there, so I stay home. Hopefully this passes.
never had that kind of thing around here, except for the rich yankees coming down to the coast to duck hunt .Outer Banks OF nc were famous for their hunting lodges and clubs. We didn't get a huntable deer population until the middle 70's
It was a better time.
Thanks for posting.
Good times, making of great memories
Around here 'deer camp' (AKA my basement) looks like a Cabela's store exploded.
I'm far less 'prepared' than I can ever remember going into deer season. So many things set aside due to farm work and getting the new shop building finished before cold weather. Oh well, it's not very cold so finding a single layer of warm clothes isn't too hard.
