Someone forwarded me a photo of a TRASHED P-08 Luger that will probably never be anything but a wall hanger but have been asked what it might worth.
Honestly, I think it is not worth anything at this point but I am putting it out there for the experts to give a possible value.
Please note that not only is the thing rusted probably beyond recovery, the grips and the bottom of the magazine are gone (which means the spring and follower are probably gone too), but you can tell from the photo the forward toggle link is broken.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

What a shame, that's a great piece of history--250-300? if it was a military piece. Person could put a round of ammo, barbed wire and barnwood and have a little setup.
it 'looks like' it went through a fire, it does have some parts value. I'll agree with grasshoper above
Yes put it on a board an it would sell for that price easy
It’s worth is what someone is willing to pay for it. An auction is a true way of finding its value. One can sometimes get surprised as to what something will bring.
See if Turnbull wants a practice piece.
UPDATE: upon a closer examination it appears this is a DWM 1906 Commercial Model in 7.65mm built somewhere between 1920 and 1922.
If correct, does it still have any value?
I will adjust down to 200-225 setup decor.
