Wife bought eggs from the cooler at Publics and left them in the truck overnight. She said they arent any good as the temperature was near 70 in the truck. I have no clue so I figured I would ask you guys. We really dont want to get sick from them.
Thanks!

Toss them out. Refrigerated eggs should not be left out for more than two hours in 70 degrees. They will start to grow bacteria and can make you really sick. Crack one open and smell it. If it has a funny smell, it is no good, but to be one the safe side, I would toss them. It stinks because they are so expensive today, but better then getting real sick.
The old saying when it comes to food.
When in doubt, through it out.
I think you meant "throw"
But then the phrase would have to be "when in dowbt, throw it out" so the letters line up.

Dogs LOVE scrambled eggs. Just a thought.
Since dogs eat cat poop I'm guessing old eggs are not a problem.🤣

"When in dought through 'em ought. Have you noticed aminal veteran charges lately?
Just toss them not worth the effort or headache for a couple dollars if you doubt them
Put em in a bowl of water and if they don't float they are ok...
JMHO
Toss them out if you have that desire not a bog dollar issue
As for us odds are great we would eat them ⁹
We leave them on the counter a couple days sometimes before putting in fridge we normally just gather them in the evening no matter the weather
Some have froze and busted but
Have never had a problem that we noticed.
When I was younger and worked a grocery store we would have eggs on sale some times .
it was not uncommon to have many cases just stacked in the isle way during the week of a sale
Pretty sure most here already know this but fresh from the farm, unwashed eggs do not even need to be refrigerated. There is a natural coating from the hen that keeps eggs from spoiling for around 3 weeks time at room temperature.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Or under mama chicken temperature^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^😉
That is true. We get are eggs from son in law, they raise chickens for eggs. We keep them refrigerated but don’t wash them until close to using them. If you wash them that removes the protective film.
Well, the chickens don't lay them in the refrigerator so ...........................................
When I was in Japan, grocery stores kept eggs out on the floor, not in coolers.
Found this on the subject.
