I was curious of what to check out on a pistol before purchase. Or what are things to beware of ?The pistol being a Glock. In New condition. FYI .

    See if the serial number is intact. And if cheap enough everything can be replaced. Also at $500 it's a Glock.

    Make sure it functions properly, slide locks back and closes completely, magazine release works and magazine doesn’t bind, trigger functions etc. To check the firing pin you can cock the gun and put a pencil in the barrel, rubber end in first, pull the trigger while pointing gun upwards, pencil should jump up or out of barrel. And check if it fits your hand properly and feels comfortable. This now is all just basic things to look for.
