Meet Sir Henry.
Younger son raised some turkeys and ducks for the feezer. Sir Henry became a pet. He follows us around, talks to us, likes to be petted and keeps track of his girlfriend, Hellen.
The rest of his brothers and sisters are resting in the freezer.

Turkeys are very sociable bird's... We had a wild turkey that loved my mom...

No. But he could be a live decoy.
A sibling to Sir Henry, will be at my wife's family's dinner on Thurday. Butchered and froze, weighed 26.9 pounds. Family dinner here with my family and little sis and her son on Sunday, our dinner turkey is only 22.7 pounds. If the knees work and God sends His blessing's, maybe some fresh venison backstraps also!
Handsome fella and I'll bet Hellen is madly in love. ------------------------------Ray
Beautiful looking turkey. Reminds me of when I was a kid. We had a pet goose named Googoo, it started to get mean so we had to get rid of him or kill him. Dad decided to kill him and we would have a goose dinner. So we cooked him up, we all sat down for a meal but none of us could eat Googoo, we ended up giving him to the neighbors that evening. I think mom ended up cooking us some hamburgers or something that night. Lol
That there is a fine example
In my younger days, I used to drink Wild Turkey.....but that was a lot of years ago !!🙄
