Heck....I think I've sold that gun. 😁
Before or after ?? 🤣
Would make a great winter project.
More proof it’s hard to stop a Colt. Lol
Both!
Fascinating video!

Cool video, thanks for sharing. That steel plate seemed awfully close though, I'd be scared of one coming back at me.
Hard to believe only had to replace the barrel, wow that was a lot of work.
I don't think he replaced the barrel. He made mention that the barrel had previously been replaced by a British issue barrel.
If you really want a challenge, start with a factory new Taurus.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Sorry to jump in. Just a side note, got this Taurus 1911 from a truck that had been in a fire.
Way too far gone for restoration back to 45 Cal, Ammo had cooked off in he barrel and mag. and the frame was Warped.
But.. Got it cleaned up re finished and refitted the parts to lower. added a Ciener 22 LR upper.
Shoot great now.
What a job. I wonder what he would have charged a customer to do that job. Have any of you ever used a product called Metal Rescue? In working with civil war era pistols I tried about everything on the shelf to remove rust. Metal Rescue is amazing. Completely removes rust.
Fun video to watch, thanks.
Great job, my compliments ,,,
