What a rollercoaster

I was waiting staring at the kitchen clock so I could call my doctor's office at 8:30 am sharp to cancel my surgery... I sounded terrible, I coughed all night. They didn't try to reschedule. Just call when I'm well. I'm back in bed with Theraflu instead of coffee. I'm thinking about making homemade cranberries sauce. I have a big bag in the freezer. Even if we don't make dinner at home I have to have cranberries. Also had my Cake cookbooks out.... Thank you for your prayers. As the old saying goes "Let there be cake"

    I am on the same ride or close to it

    I have had my surgery canceled four times.

    once was me as I did not want to be down over Christmas ( last year )

    next up I had covid had to cancel again. 6 week wait after I was cleared of it

    third and fourth time I had a bad reaction to some drugs they gave me to take the day before.

    I told them at the third go round but the doc basic blew me off said no one has problems with the drug I had two that super strong antibiotics I was sick and struggling for a week to get back normal. so scheduled it again

    # 4 issued

    the doc only gave me one drug but was a guess as they did not know which one caused by reaction 50/50 guess

    well wrong guess I ended up in the ER that night over the side effects.

    then doc went on vacation that was several months ago I have not rescheduled the surgery

    working with a surgeon who is booked so far ahead it takes weeks just to see him and many more weeks to get any procedures done

    I have a tumor where my large and small intestine meet. what My issue is ( well at least one of them LOL)
