Beautiful country alright
I had extra ice in my cooler...
Great pictures. What is the mountain range in the first picture?
If I may ask?
Both pics have the same range in them, it's just the second picture is looking more northward, up the valley. I'm at about 7,000 feet in the Sapphire range, looking West, across the Bitterroot Valley, at the almost 10,000 foot Bitterroot Mountains in Western Montana. Idaho is about 40 miles or so over those hills.
Compare the leaning tree in the picture for some reference. For an example, the valley floor is about 3500 feet in elevation and the tallest peak in the background is St. Mary peak, which is right at 9,400 feet. It's a pretty spectacular place to live.
That's sweet country for sure, thanks for the pics!!
Beautiful pics!! Just curious......what "buggy" were you riding in?
Beautiful view. You mentioned buggy ride I thought about my Amish neighbors as 4-5 buggies on the road all time.
Very nice. Are ya seein' any critters up there, Todd?
NICE Buggy there Todd!!
I didn't realize until after posting the picture, that if you look above the house on the right, to the right of the notch in the hills, there is a small, light bare spot and that is where the pics were taken from.
Love the views!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
