Gorilla Tape Question.....

For those of you that have used GT, does it tear and leave the same residue as duct tape? I need to seal off some areas that will need to be accessed once in a while.

It's strong stuff for sure but it still leaves some stickiness when you peel it off after it has sat for a while. Not as bad a duct tape, though.

Can you use adhesive backed velcro strips to seal it off? That way you could open and close it as needed. Granted, the velcro would always be there, but would that matter?
Probably not, I want to seal plastic trays that sit under the rear seats of my buggy that are exposed to quite a bit of dust from the under carriage. I would rather seal them tighter since I wouldn't have to remove them very often.
The glue they use is real gummy. Also it kind a oozes when it gets warm or the black bit shrinks. I wouldn't use it anywhere where I would sit on it. Think glue trap.
